Another quickie
It was another quick Saturday morning to Sunday afternoon trip to Sidetrack.
Ah, but what beauty and what relaxation. A good book, passable food, decent naps, and lots of weeds to pull.
The neighborhood kids (ages 2-22) were having a good time, and we all got to wish the birthday boy a happy 70th.
There was a strong and persistent wind from the SSW the whole time I was there. Where was all that air coming from? And where was it going?
No pictures. I forgot my cameras.

Fourth of July
It was a shortened July 4th weekend. Mary was here from Chicago and Jo came along. The weather was fantastic. We had a great meal (thanks, Mary). The fireworks from around the lake were equally amazing.
I got all the way around the lake on Saturday morning. Still beautiful. Home to see the kid for a few hours before he went back to the big city on the lake.
Kris was missing the old place from a couple thousand miles away, so I took everyday pics to help her imagine being here. (I thought about giving them captions, but everyone knows what's in these pictures.)
Enjoy.
