Wow!?
As I was finishing up the last message, I notice that 17 people from Brazil looked at this web page in the last week. Deborah, are you down in the islands using a Brazilian web host?
Progress on the Big Blake dam
If you're curious about rebuilding the dam at the north end of Big Blake (and you should be), check the web site for
The Blake Lake Protection and Rehabilitation District.
Details on the dam project are on the
"News" page.
District map. You'll notice that Little Blake Lake residences are just outside the boundary of the Blake Lake Protection and Rehabilitation District. That means that property on Little Blake won't be assessed for the cost of the dam or weed removal, but it also means that those of us on Little Blake won't benefit from the weed removal or have a voice in making decisions about how Little Blake is affected by the dam and other policies.
If you're interested more than that, the Spring Meeting is on May 21, 9:00am at Georgetown Lutheran Church.
