Lake level news

Got this from Gary on Big Blake last night:

I heard this week that the dam has washed out at Sherrards again, this time catastrophically. Apparently the water has gone around the side of the dam now and washed out half the dam.

The DNR has agreed to build a permanent solution but it’s going to cost the lake association $400K or so. Worse they insist that they control the dam and the flow.
Apparently the water levels are down about half a meter or so.

Any other reports?

Comments:
I've heard the DNR said Blake's going to be low this year and they plan to build dam before winter. They have their historical level data from the water quality testing last year and next year their goal is to retain and maintain last year's depths. Going to be a shallow year!
